Quite Possibly, The Worst Lyric Ever Written... |
whomever penned this ditty -
"There's only two things in the world I love,
That's Rock n Roll and my Turtle Dove..."
Should be force fed turtle doves until further notice... I'm guessing the inspiration was not moving them Brightly!!! Sure do like the way Keith sings though, should have encouraged the new kid a little more...

I believe it was HUNTER of all people. Still the man had a pretty damn good brilliant to cheese ratio.

always liked the tune - never could understand why Jer didn't make the Hunter tune his own after Keiths 1-2 dozen over 2 weeks,2 weeks before the album came out.

Of course, this...
You need my love baby, oh so bad
You're not the only one I've ever had
And you say you wanna set me free
Don't you know you'll be in misery
You know why
They call me
(Dr. Love)
They call me Dr. Love
(Calling Dr. Love)
I am your doctor of love
(Dr. Love)
I've got the cure you're thinkin' of...

Re: Quite Possibly, The Worst Lyric Ever Written... |
Hot Blooded is perhaps the most quintessential and Brilliant Foreigner tune if not American Rock tune of all time ( wow sounds like American Psycho huh what a great movie )
but there truly are so many Classics to choose from such as
" it feels so right, so warm and true, I need to know if you feel it too
Maybe I'm wrong, won't you tell me if I'm coming on too strong "

Heeeeeeelp!!! Bad Gateway let in Foreigner!
But what I want to know is, how in the world can you actually have tolerated them long enough to even remember the lyrics? Just the sound of that band sends me screaming.
Must. Reach. For. Antidote.
Best Lyric that's So Bad It's Good:
"God save the Queen,
She ain't no human bean ..."

Haha man there's so much I could say in this thread, but I'm not wasting my last remaining moments awake discussing Foreigner and bad GD lyrics.

I would say there's some irony there wouldn't you? Writing peace and love lyrics and being reportedly the biggest prick of the " summer of love" era

Most Certainly, The Worst Lyric Ever Written... |
I can't believe no one mentioned this; which in my opinion has the Turtle dove one beat by a mile
Did you ever waken to the sound
Of street cats makin' love
And guess from their cries
You were listenin' to a fight?
